When conceiving the vision for his company, Grand Street Development, Dean Marchi was inspired by the historic architecture that makes New York City unique. In particular there is a fascination with the details featured on the warehouse and cast-iron buildings of old New York.

These buildings were erected in the 1800's as celebrations of commerce and artfully demonstrate the pride of an era and industry. Today, there is a resurgence of interest in these buildings for use as family residences. However, converting them into comfortable and modern living spaces has challenges. So, Grand Street Development will often start from scratch to recreate these great buildings. Grand Street Development reinvents the historic warehouse and cast-iron aesthetic with contemporary comforts and conveniences to provide a home you’ll love well into the future.
